Pokedex Meme Challenge
Day 11: Favorite Ground type
Ani’s and Night's choice: Flygon
One of the few rare times that me and Night actually have picked the same exact pokemon for the challenge! It's super fun to see something like this happen; you can then really tell the difference in both of our styles in terms of the same pokemon. :'3 It'll happen a few more times throughout the challenge, so keep an eye out! <3
BUT OHMYGOD. FLYGON. If you've been a friend of mine for a long time, you would know I have a huge history with Flygon in general. For instance, I have an awesome character named Amber who happened to be a Flygon pokemorph (with Scarlet, an evil spirit she was fused with, who was a black and red Flygon). Amber and Scarlet has been really old characters of mine; Amber is actually one of the first pokemon-based character with a long complex history. I've drawn her many many times when I was in High School (it kinda trailed off into other characters, namely the ones I've been creating with NightTwilightWolf... maybe you'll see them someday xD); she was my vent-y character that I loved to pour angst into and really tortured in RP's. xD;; But I still adore her to this day and I would love to bring her back (along with psychotic Scarlet)!
Okay, enough gushing about Original Characters. xD Flygons have been one of those pokemon that when I first saw them, I fell in love with the design almost immediately. I loved that they look like dragons with goggles! Not to mention, they are absolute BEASTS to use in battles! I freakin' love Flygon in Double Battle particularly because of their Levitate ability (EARTHQUAKE TIME, WHO'S WITH ME???) yet they are Dragon/Ground. What a paradox. xD It has always bothered me when people drew them as dragonflies; while I understand the reference as it is in their name, they are still DRAGON. So therefore, look like DRAGONS.
DRAGONSSSSS.
Anyways, it looks like that Flygon is trying to teach the Shiny Flygon how to best hide from trainers. I'm sure she's very well aware on how rare she is. ;3

Flygon's gotta be powerful. Though he does have more vulnerability to ice, he is also immune to both electricity and, being able to levitate, earthquakes. Strange how it's a bug type egg.
